{"id":11515,"date":"2016-11-02T08:16:40","date_gmt":"2016-11-02T08:16:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/test.wavoglobal.org\/?p=11515"},"modified":"2021-01-08T09:04:39","modified_gmt":"2021-01-08T09:04:39","slug":"wavo-and-ivsc-join-forces-to-promote-international-valuation-standards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wavoglobal.org\/?p=11515","title":{"rendered":"WAVO and IVSC join forces to promote International Valuation Standards"},"content":{"rendered":"<hr \/>\n<p>[metaslider id=&#8221;11595&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) and The World Association of Valuation Organisations (WAVO) successfully signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) between Sir David Tweedie, Chairman of IVSC Board of Trustees and Dr Lim Lan Yuan JP, Executive President of WAVO at the 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0WAVO Congress in Daegu, Republic of Korea on 2 November 2016.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">This is a milestone event for the two global valuation bodies, and most significant for the global valuation profession. Under the MOC, IVSC and WAVO agree to jointly promote the importance of adopting the International Valuation Standards. WAVO will educate and train valuers on the IVSC standards, and IVSC will support and endorse the efforts of WAVO in encouraging its members and others in the adoption of the IVSC standards.
